Rain novel – Karen Duve

“Karen Duve is an exceptional phenomenon among the authors of her generation,” writes the Stuttgarter Zeitung.

She proves it in her “Regenroman” in which a Hamburg writer Leon finds his dream house on the edge of an East German bog. The moor and the morass of human relationships are treacherous, however. The novel is like the moor in which it is set: merciless and beautiful, ambiguous, unpredictable, and full of dazzling details. Printed on SALZER TOUCH in a special edition of 6,000 copies.
